Beautiful Black and White

Trying out some Lightroom edits on some of the PinUp shots. I love how this B/W one turned out...very stark and I love how her cheek disappears into the background but her eyes are the focus.

I am entering this in the I {heart} Faces B/W Challenge.

As I was cruising the aisles of Cost Plus trying to find more useless stuff to waste my money on I came across a stack of Tabasco Chocolate tins, while I was not in the Least interested in the candy, the tins called out to be shot!

Project 52 Week 9 Theme "A Great Leap"

Leap Day....is that what you call Feb 29th? Anyway, whatever day it is, it gave us snow for the first time in Ages...and now today we are getting more, we may even get up to 4" by the end of today here in Boise. Despite being laid up with pain and on some strong meds I had to head outside for a few fast shots. Got one of a wrinkled up old Rose Hip outside the front door and here is what I did with it...

Who Needs McDonald's

One of my "Go To" meals when I can't decide what to make...homemade McMuffin. I use sourdough English muffins (I want to learn to make my own,) CoJack Cheese, Ham and Fresh from the coop eggs.

P52: Cabin Fever

We have had grey, windy cold days for the last little while here in Boise. Wednesday just before sunset the wind finally blew the clouds away for long enough to see blue sky. The sun was low on the horizon and touched the top of the clouds. It was beautiful! Too bad it was still Frfrfreeeeezing outside, so I had to just look out the window and wish I was out in the sun.
